BLOGGER'S DEPRESSION. I've been suffering from a blogger's depression lately, just have not felt like posting anything at all. Maybe it's the upcoming exam that I have not studied for yet or the fact that my Essie good to go! is empty or it's the monsoon grey that rolls of Singapore every day, which, don't get me wrong I still prefer to a cold, wet, mushy Rotterdam winter, can still be so depressing. I don't know, but in an attempt to shake it off, here is my first post in a while!
I had a great and refreshing weekend with Hong Ha, who stopped over Singapore for 3 days, and Bac Khue, who joined us on Saturday, both left last night. It's always to nice to spend time with family, especially when you're away from home, and with "home" I do not even know which place I actually mean. :) today is laundry and study day (it's almost 5pm and I have not studied nor done the laundry yet...), monsoon downpour just commenced, frustrating... Perfect weather for blogging though, so here are the pictures from the weekend, 3 days squeezed into one post, ready, set, go!
I did not take a lot of pictures, since day 1 we just went to ION for Vietnamese food and lazed around, day 2 we went shopping and then steam bath, relaxing and naughty McDonalds at night, nothing that desperately needed to be photographed. These pictures are therefore mostly from day 3.
Confusion: this is not what the bathroom looked like before we left for breakfast...?
P.S. amazing hotel, zanks Son for the room and Hong Ha for letting me stay over. I have an undeniable love for hotels from the buffet breakfast and housekeeping to HBO, I love!!! I already see my life ending up very Up In The Air some day, hopefully minus the job consisting of firing people that is.
Breakfast, which we actually had at the wrong hotel restaurant the whole stay, whooops. :)
Steam bath, jacuzzi and pool time!
Finally made it to the Jurong bird park, which was perfect for this weekend, since Hong Ha loves birdies.
Tallest man-made waterfall in the world.
Hong Ha having capital F Fun.
This is how I felt about it...
Dinner before Hong Ha and Bac Khue headed to the airport at Chijmes, a former church with a beautiful courtyard filled with bars and restaurants. Good weekend!!!
