the naked chef

THE NAKED CHEF. Ha! I totally forgot about these pictures, and am now of course overjoyed that I have something new to post, hipp, hipp, hurray! One of the great things about Rotterdam is that it's so close to home to Schermani, which is especially nice when I get sick of the limited repertoire of dishes that I am able to successfully cook (bolognese, curry, chilli con carne, boring, boring, boring...). Surprisingly, baby Michael has learnt to make amazing steak with potatoes, which now makes going home for the weekend even more attractive. :) he won't be amused that I am posting these nude shots, but they amuse me too much to not post! I wonder if he'll still make me steak and potatoes when I go home this Friday.... :)

give me sun

GIVE ME SUN. Received this picture in the mail yesterday, looked out the window, and sighed... Mother nature, have mercy, -14 today, biking = death.

life

LIFE. Things are so busy here at the moment, I cannot remember ever having so many deadlines, tests and such a crazy workload before. I also never remember it ever being so cold - it snowed Friday for a couple of hours and the snow still hasn't melted... I hate the cold, but I love waking up to a winter wonderland outside my window (and the pretty tulips le boyfriend got me :)). As I write this, I release the most intense yawn of my life, I have the longest day behind me, bed time it is!

drink green

DRINK GREEN. So, so sorry for the lack of posts lately. First I was busy finding an apartment and then moving in, now I'm absolutely swamped with university with a deadline and mid-term coming up this Monday and a deadline the following Wednesday. Somebody give me some space to breath por favor? In an attempt to act like a social human being I stopped by to support my former SIFE project, Drink Green, on Tuesday. Apart from that, nothing exciting has happened, which is just swell.....Oh uni, give me my life back... And extreme cold in Europe, let me feel my toes again. Half-frozen thumbs down to -7 degrees.
